Fulcrum Worldwide Corporate Social Responsibility

Fulcrum Worldwide recognizes & understands its commitment towards the communities in which we operate around the globe. We firmly believe that we can help in creating an active compliance with the spirit of law, ethical standards, and international norms.

Our approach is driven by three main principles:

  • Collaborate & co-operate to make a social impact
  • Leverage our expertise & talent to address social issues
  • Create an impact that is long-lasting

Volunteerism

Along with our dedicated national & local programs round the year, Fulcrum Worldwide encourages and supports employee volunteerism. With respect to this, we partner with several Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) and come together to create positive social change in our communities through volunteering.

Some of our Signature volunteering initiatives:

  • Payroll Giving:
Fulcrum Employees can voluntarily commit a certain amount from their salary as a donation. This donation is in return passed on to the NGOs. This is an effective approach wherein employees can contribute towards a cause based on their willingness. Many employees, every year, opt for this initiative, which demonstrates our commitment and belief towards Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs.
  • Teach for a Cause:
Fulcrum teamed-up with The Institutes for the Achievement of Human Potential, which is internationally known for its pioneering work in child brain development and for its programs to help brain-injured children achieve wellness and excellence.

The objective was to collaborate with parents of brain-injured children, however severely hurt, and help them to be their best physically, intellectually, physiologically and socially.

  • Cloth Donation Drive:
Fulcrum has held several cloth donation drives in the US in partnership with Goodwill and in India in partnership with Goonj. With this effort, we collected several boxes of clothing, shoes and other necessary accessories, which could be of use to the deprived.
  • Blood Donation Camps:
In a series of Blood Donation Camps that we organize across our various centers, we urge Fulcrum staff to donate blood. Fulcrum employees have been very proactive to respond to urgent blood requirements.

We have jointly organized Blood Donation Camps with Blood Banks and provided them with necessary space and infrastructure required to effectively conduct such programs.

  • Plant with a purpose: Ankur Plantation
With an opening-move from our CEO, who led the plantation drive, Fulcrum actively got along. In its first phase the team successfully planted more than 515 saplings at the Panchavati Hills locations in Pune. Named "Ankur", which means "to blossom", the team will ensure that they nurture the saplings and will be monitoring the place continually. The second phase has been planned as well, and the team has identified more locations for this initiative in conjunction with the local authorities.
  • Zero-Garbage
We realize the importance of maintaining our eco-system and do not hesitate in appropriately disposing of garbage as well. The purpose of our Zero-Garbage campaign was to create awareness among the community about disposal of garbage in an efficient manner. We chose the Symbiosis Hills area in Pune for demonstrating this where the team collected garage that was improperly disposed and made arrangements for its safe disposal in the future.
